Mrs. Tammy Conway is the principal at O’Hara Catholic School in Eugene,OR. Now in her 16th year leading O’Hara - and her 19th year at the school - she first joined the community as a middle school science and religion teacher. She began her career in education 25 years ago teaching high school biology and forensic science in public schools. She later founded St. Thomas Academy, a Catholic school in Redmond, Oregon, within the Diocese of Baker.
Mrs. Conway holds a Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University, a Master of Teaching from Pacific University, and an Administrative Certification in Educational Leadership from the University of Oregon. She has served in the Archdiocese of Portland since 2007. In addition to her role as Principal of O’Hara Catholic School, she is the WCEA (Western Catholic Educational Association) Commissioner for the Archdiocese of Portland’s Office for the Mission of Catholic Education, supporting schools across the Archdiocese in achieving and maintaining accreditation.
